FunSeekers Radio Network in a nutshell.
The FunSeekers Radio Network kicked off on New Year's Day in 1991. The network served as a vehicle to deliver the wit and wisdom of humorist Ludlow Porch to radio stations that wanted to set themselves apart from political talkradio. Ludlow, and his producer, Denny Ainsworth, had already worked together for the better part of 6 years at WCNN and WSB, and they looked forward to spreading the spirit of their show to new listeners.

Ludlow Porch was a talkradio pioneer. He was a vital part of the first all-talk radio station in the South as a Ringmaster on WRNG Atlanta. He later helped transform legendary AM powerhouse WSB Atlanta from a stagnant music format into a talkradio giant.

Ludlow's listeners developed over the years into a legion of "Whackos" who became an integral element in the two-way conversational approach that Ludlow had mastered daily since 1970. Many listeners have described the show as similar to sitting around the kitchen table and eavesdropping on a family get-together.

Denny Ainsworth began his radio career on a small family-owned country FM in south Mississippi. He went on to program Top 40 music stations before migrating to Atlanta and experiencing news, talk and sports radio at WCNN. Denny used his music-radio background to change the way music was used to accent an all-talk program by inserting "bumpers" that reinforced the topic of the day.

Ludlow, along with Denny, delivered this unique program to a diverse audience across a select group of radio affiliates who recognized that great talkradio is harder to find these days. Ludlow walked away from the microphone Labor Day 2010. Sadly, he passed away after suffering a series of strokes in February 2011. Archived Ludlow Porch Shows are being added to this website's streaming service and can be accessed after clicking the "On Demand" button.

Denny Ainsworth is committed to maintaining the same integrity that Ludlow always brought to radio listeners, but he will not attempt to imitate Ludlow because there was only one Ludlow Porch. The new version of the show will continue to gradually evolve, and Denny hopes you will be part of the evolution.

Stay tuned.
